Triptorelin Injection Extended Release Parenteral 11.25mg is sterile and has a milky appearance and a white to slightly yellow lyophilized cake.
It is a synthetic decapeptide agonist analog of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) and contains pamoate salt of Triptorelin.

Triptorelin Injection does not cure but gives soothing treatment for advanced prostate cancer in men, it reduces the growth and spread of testosterone in the body which indeed slows down the increase of cancer cells. It relieves the difficult/painful urination.
It treats the central precocious puberty (CPP) in the 2 years’ age children.
The extended release of the medicine is given once in twelve weeks to treat adjuvant treatment of radiotherapy, radical prostatectomy in high-risk patients, neo-adjuvant treatment before radiotherapy.
It is probably used to treat certain disorder of the uterus (endometriosis) and reduces the amount of estrogen produced in the body in women and stops early puberty in children.
